The first deal of the 2025 Paris Air Show was sealed on June 15, when Brazil’s Revo signed a binding contract that will see it operate air taxi services in São Paulo with 50 Eve Air Mobility four-passenger eVTOL aircraft. The spinoff from helicopter group Omni intends to take delivery of the first 10 vehicles in late 2027, with the others to follow as it scales up the operation.


Republic Airways has agreed to buy at least one example of Beta Technologies’ Alia CX300 electric airplane and will use it to train its pilots and conduct route planning. Under a memorandum of understanding announced on June 16 at the Paris Air Show, the carrier is set to take delivery of the first aircraft—under special airworthiness certificate rules—in the fourth quarter, with options to add more examples as its plans for commercial services are firmed up.


Archer Aviation this week expanded its network of so-called Launch Edition customers for its four-passenger Midnight eVTOL air taxi through an agreement with Indonesian conglomerate Industri Ketahanan Nasional. The $250 million deal, announced on June 16 at the Paris Air Show, includes a provisional sales agreement covering up to 50 Midnight aircraft.


French drone technology specialist Parrot on June 16 revealed its Anafi UKR family of compact UAVs for intelligence, surveillance, and recognition roles at the Paris Air Show. The platform was initially developed for Ukrainian forces and is now being offered for wider defense and public safety missions. It is also highlighting a platform-agnostic autopilot called the Chuck 3.0.


In the quest to conjure the next generation of commercial airliners, U.S. start-up JetZero believes it could give Boeing and Airbus a run for their money. The California-based company is poised to shake up the commercial airline market with a novel type of airplane that hardly resembles any aircraft in service today.


VoltAero has unveiled the first example of its revised design for the Cassio 330 hybrid-electric regional airplane. The French company is displaying a mockup of the five-passenger model this week at the Paris Air Show.


Wisk Aero has expanded its network of cities seeking to be early adopters of autonomous air taxi services using its eVTOL vehicle. On June 16 at the Paris Air Show, the Boeing subsidiary signed agreements with officials from Miami and Kaga, Japan.
